Technology description
The wastewater treatment plant consists of an all-plastic tank, divided by partitions into individual technological spaces. The tank contains micro-filtration modules consisting of air distribution and aeration elements, membranes and pumps. The tank is covered with a hinged insulated cover. The wastewater flows into the settling tank of the influent part of the WWTP where it is stripped of mechanical, floating and settle-able substances, which are further subjected to anaerobic digestion (hydrolysis).From the settling area, the mechanically pre-treated water flows through an overflow into the activation area, which includes a membrane section where micro filtration modules are located.
The activation area is used for biological treatment of the wastewater and micro-filtration through the membranes. This space is surrounded at the bottom by a fine-bubble aeration system, which serves to aerate the tank and also to clean the membranes, into which air is blown by a blower. The advantage of the solution is the treatment plant operates within a range of minimum and maximum operating levels, thus providing an accumulation space throughout the treatment plant, which is designed to accumulate wastewater and to ensure a uniform outflow from the treatment plant. The activated mixture from the pressured activation is filtered through membranes with a pore diameter of 0,03 μm into the outlet.
